My interests are in seabed exploration, human connections with ocean, transforming maritime opportunities for historically marginalized communities, and responsible management as global ocean resources are increasingly centered in conversations of climate change and the Blue Economy. My graduate research at Duke University in environmental leadership focused on the emergent seabed mining industry’s management planning process in the High Seas.
